Local Generation is a state-of-the-art anaerobic digestion site in Cambridgeshire.
The renewable energy it creates from the food waste generates up to 17 MWth of renewable Biogas.
Set on a 7-acre plot, this site has an annual processing capacity of 120,000 metric tonnes per year of food waste.
Local Generation provides a recycling solution for all varieties of food waste including domestic (local authority), packaged and unpackaged retail stock, manufacturing waste, oils and fats and category 3 animal by-products.
