It’s February 1st and, for a lot of us the sun is shining today and there is a hint of Spring in the air! But, if you cast your mind back, just for a second to those bleak weeks before Christmas. The cold, dark, long nights the restrictions and the working from home measures in place, our teams stepped up to a challenge we asked for their support with.
We all know that 2020 was a year we’d probably like to forget, but with the New Year now upon us it’s time to start to think about how things will look for our customers and our contacts.
It’s been a strange old year; one we couldn’t have seen coming and one that we’ve all struggled with in some form or another. But it’s also been one where we’ve achieved many things as a business.
To coin a phrase from a rather well-known retailer, famous for their Christmas campaigns, we too thought we’d give a little love this Christmas.
Back in May we decided to donate to a local foodbank close to our Head Office in Lincolnshire, we wanted to support people in the local community in a way that was important to us.
Often overlooked and outnumbered by bigger and more vocal charitable organisations, carers of all ages are unsung heroes of today’s age. A plight highlighted even further by the recent lockdown we’ve all experienced due to the Covid19 pandemic.
As a business we encourage and support our staff with their charitable work, fundraising efforts and take part in specific events and charity days throughout the calendar year.
