World Mental Health Day 2021
We can’t quite believe that it’s been nearly a year since we last wrote about the measures we had undertaken as a business to ensure our teams were as happy and healthy as they could possibly be.
Here we are again, a year later and approaching World Mental Health Day 2021. Fortunately, a lot of us are now in a much better place than we were last year after months of restrictions and life-changing adaptations to the way we lived and worked.
But we also know that the day-to-day struggle some people face still impacts them and the way they work and we’re incredibly conscious that for those people, we offer our full support.
The theme ‘Do one thing’ rings true with us and so many other people. Doing just one thing can make a huge difference to someone’s day or in some cases, how they live their life.
We’re very lucky that there is so much support out there now for people, but still, lots of people either don’t know about it or don’t feel, for whatever reason they can ask for help.
We urge you to ask if someone is ok, check on your friends, family, and work colleagues. Reach out and offer support, a listening ear or point them in the direction of professional support.

Here at BioteCH4 we are very lucky to have a team of Mental Health Ambassadors, on hand to offer support and guidance as a first port of call for anyone needing a little help. We also have mental health trained managers and team leaders and a range of other support, which can be accessed through our HR team.
We hope, that by talking about mental health and sharing resources and support available that we can help make a difference to just one person’s life. We hope this will open the conversation and further reduce the stigma associated with mental health in the workplace and society as a whole – let’s keep talking.
