Join Us At RWM

We’re delighted to be attending the RWM expo in September, the event is a great opportunity for businesses and suppliers, to meet and discuss the latest market trends and all things recycling and waste management.

While we’re conscious most people’s focus will currently be squeezing in some annual leave and making the most of the good old British weather, the expo will be here before we know it.

The event, at the NEC, Birmingham 22 – 23rd September will be the first opportunity many of us have had to talk to our customers and industry contacts face to face in a very long time and so we’re really looking forward to catching up with lots of you.

Across the 2 days, the event which features over 100 expert speakers across the waste management, resource and recycling industries and over 500 exhibitors, allows exhibitors to demonstrate their industry expertise to all those meeting with them or listening to them on the day.

Come and Meet the Team!

The whole BioteCH4 team are very much looking forward to meeting faces old and new across the 2 days and we’ll be proudly exhibiting with a brand new exhibition space with our sister businesses Stortec and Harris Tobias, part of the BioteCH4 group. On our stand (5-S220) will be members of our commercial team, our Chief Commercial Officer and our marketing team. The whole team will be on hand, across the 2 days to answer any questions you may have around our services and the sectors in which we work.

Our Chief Commercial Officer, Lee Dobinson, will be hosting a seminar ‘Transforming Food Waste for Good’ on the second day of the event and we encourage you to join him for that if you’re free.

Local Authorities and Food Waste

Central government has given a deadline of October 2023 for all local authorities in England to collect food waste separately and that it will cover the net cost to ensure that this is put into effect.

Local authorities need to decide which strategy they are going to use to collect food waste separately and how their new strategy is going to be implemented.

We know that these changes in legislation mean an increased focus on what you’re doing with your collected food waste and how you will deal with that depends on who you partner with.

If you’d like to talk to a member of the team at RWM expo, then we’d be more than happy to support you with a conversation.

We’re very much looking forward to seeing you all on the day(s) of the expo, but please feel free to get in touch before should you have any questions for the team.
