2020 - The Year We All Raised our Game!

It’s been a strange old year; one we couldn’t have seen coming and one that we’ve all struggled with in some form or another. But it’s also been one where we’ve achieved many things as a business.

As we approach the end of the year, we turn our minds to those less fortunate than ourselves. Those in need, in food poverty or struggling to make ends meet after sadly losing their jobs or going out of business following the financial strains Covid-19 has forced upon so many.

Giving Something Back

Usually, our staff and customers would receive Christmas cards, treats and gifts from us in recognition of the fantastic working relationships we have, the support we receive and the value they place on the important service we provide in our aim to recycle food waste for good.

This year, for every card, gift and customer treat we will, instead be making a donation to our chosen charity – The Lincolnshire Foodbank, part of the Trussle Trust. We truly believe in giving something back and we’ve been delighted to support the foodbank and our local communities this year.

Team’s across all our sites have also been busy buying and donating new toys and gifts for children who may otherwise go without this year. The toy donations are part of an NSPCC initiative.

They will be donating toys to children who are in foster care, in children’s homes or between care and those who, during the recent difficult times with the impact of Covid-19, have had to rely on the support of local foodbanks.

And Finally...

We’d like to share something with you, by way of saying thank you. Thank you for working with us, for us and sharing great things about us. We are overwhelmed by the support you have all shown us and your local communities through this difficult year.

If you have any questions about how your current food waste collections will continue to work over the Christmas period or if you have new challenges to work on and would like some support, please get in touch with your account manager or drop us an email to
