About Us

BioteCH4 are one of the leading AD operators in the UK. Across our 6 sites we handle the collection, transportation and production of food waste, oils and fats recycling.

As of 1st September 2020, all our plant locations, EnriCH4, Local Generation, Hemswell Biogas, R100, Changing Waste, Thornfield Energy, Holme Bioenergy, Harris Tobias and Stortec will be operating under our new umbrella company name - BioteCH4. This is a group name we feel better reflects our businesses and the industry in which we operate.

BioteCH4 own and operate a group of anaerobic digestion facilities across the UK. We also provide biological support, emergency response and feedstock supply to other operators within the industry. Our industry expertise means we not only have the knowledge and experience to deal with all the food waste the UK produces, we also have the capacity to handle whatever quantity you need us to, from the majority of sectors across each of our plants.

About Us

Corporate and Social Responsibility

We take our commitment to our corporate social responsibility very seriously, it’s incredibly important that we practise our values and demonstrate why they are important to us as an organisation. They form the backbone of our company and they ultimately ensure we deliver and perform in a way that is expected of us from top down and back again.

Through our leadership we are committed to developing a workforce that lives and breathes our values, one that loves working for BioteCH4 and that delivers exceptional service for our customers.

How do we do this? We lead by example, we continually invest in our staff through training and develop associations with industry recognised providers of education and sector qualifications.

Charity

We’re very lucky that we have so many amazing charities right on our doorstep, but this year we’re delighted that we have chosen to support Lincolnshire Foodbank.

Now more than ever it is important for us to be supporting a charity close to our hearts and even closer in location to our head office here in Lincolnshire.

Huge thanks goes to our team who have not only been fully behind our decision to support this charity, but also for enthusiastic suggestions on how we can continue to support them post Covid19.
